The Season of Colour

Stunning sunrises of bruised pinks and mauves. Autumn is the jewel in the crown of our British seasons and this year is no exception.  I am a morning person and one of the many benefits of rising early is being out and about as the mists lift revealing colour filled days.  With only the sound of the birds and the cattle in the neighbouring fields, early morning is the time to really acknowledge that each new day brings the possibility of fresh starts. A time of uninterrupted thoughts to ease any decision making. Gathered from the garden, the cosmos is still in flower, albeit slowing in its offerings. There is something so pleasing about a jug of flowers on a kitchen table.
